Polar is a multidisciplinary artist based in Saratoga Springs, New York. They graduated from Skidmore College in 2021 with a bachelor of science in studio arts. During their schooling they focused on fiber arts as a primary concentration and ceramics as a secondary concentration. Since graduating they have continued building their artistic portfolio. Most recently they traveled to Arita, Japan for an artist residency at Kouraku Kiln. In their art Polar often focuses on relationships, especially the intimacies of non-romantic relationships.
